Progetto Olimpiadi della Matematica
An initiative to promote the interest in Mathematics among young people … thereby increasing friendship among Mediterranean peoples … with a special emphasis regarding the equality of men and women
• Working language of the championship: English
• About 20 teams invited, one from each Mediterranean country
• Each team consisting of 4 people, 2 boys and 2 girls, currently in their final three years of high school (and at most nineteen years old)
• Many grants offered by the organizers to defray the costs of participation for students and chaperons (1 chaperon for each team)
